Bucket elevators are used to elevate bulk materials vertically. They consist of a series of buckets that are attached to a belt or chain inside a housing. The system is designed for the buckets to collect material from an inlet point. As each bucket travels past the inlet point, it is filled with material and elevated to a desired discharge height. Bucket elevators can be designed to handle a variety of bulk materials from powders to larger, heavier materials. DG Marshall offers two types of bucket elevator designs: centrifugal and continuous discharge.   The design choice is based upon customer specific applications.
